Amsterdam Java Meetup Q307, September 21st

It's time for the next Java Meetup again. I decided to postpone the 7th installment of this quarterly event in Amsterdam until right after summer, because most people here in The Netherlands take a couple of weeks off in August or so.

I've looked at our internal schedules and it seems September 21st is the only day left in September, so I hope it fits with other people's schedules as well.

We'll be doing it at the same location as last April's meetup, as this is pretty convenient for us and everybody seems to be fine with it. The first Java Meetup ever was held in my favorite Amsterdam hangout, the Wijnand & Fockinck, but we quickly realized this is way too small to accommodate for 50 to 100 people and moved to the Jaren.

So here goes:

The 7th Amsterdam Java Meetup
When: September 21st, 2007, 6pm - ?
Where: De Jaren (Nieuwe Doelenstraat)
Who: everybody that's got anything to do with Java (.NET and other friends are welcome too)
What: drinks, meeting up with people and no technical sessions

No RSVP for this event, but of course, it's always nice to see who is coming, so you are welcome to comment here.

    I wish I could make it! I visited Amsterdam in 2005 and loved it… The locals were very kind and the vibe of the city is wonderful. To mix that atmosphere with Java would be fantastic.

    I think I will be joining again. Last time in April I was a bit late and had to leave early again. So this time I will try to create more 'quality time' :P

    I'll invite Olav too. I almost sure he will join again. :)

    Mhh by the way, yes, I have something to do with Java also, I was trying to get rid of this but i'm realizing that it's kind of impossible after 7 years…
