You certainly forgot org.springmodules:spring-modules-sandbox:jar:0.8. I can't find it in https://springframework.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/springframework/repos/repo-ext. Do you want that I move all those dependencies in the MTG repo ?

The repositories should have been defined in the poms I put in the attachment - I think I might have missed one.

The spring-modules-sandbox distro is \"unofficial\" in the sense that I put it in a public repo just for the purposes of this post (Graeme says he doesn\'t need it in 0.6 anyway). It is at https://springframework.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/springframework/repos/repo-ext.

The 2.1-m2 release of Spring is at https://springframework.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/springframework/repos/repo-snapshots But N.B. this is not the normal Grails 0.5.6 Spring version and it may not work in some crucial circumstances. There is a Spring issue that deals with it (http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/spring/browse/SPR-3712) and it is not closed yet. On the other hand, it might not affect everyone (I can run my app with 2.1-m2).

Hi Dave,

 Thanks a lot for your work. I'm always working on a first release of a plugin for maven 2 and I have a little problem. On my desktop I can build a Grails project with your poms, but I can't do on the CI server. Some dependencies aren't found and I don't find a repository where I can get them :
* org.springframework:spring:jar:2.1-m2
* org.springmodules:spring-modules-sandbox:jar:0.8
 Where did you get them ?

The poms in the attachment were only ever supposed to be a one-off - a kick in the right direction for the Grails team. Graeme says he's quite open to the idea of shipping Grails with Maven support, and that would mean publishing the poms publically as well. I guess as long as I am actively using Grails I can make the current version available anyway - I'll look into converting the test project to an archetype, as it might be helful to other efforts (principally Arnaud's). Arnaud's project has seen some activity lately as well, and they seem to be moving foward with a Maven plugin for Grails. So fingers crossed for 0.6...

Hello.

I wish to thank you for great work. But how to be with next versions of Grails?

Life is going and Grails are under active development and it is looking it is changed from version to version. So when next version (0.6) will be released and all us will want to go with it we will need ask you for new version of grails-maven.zip. ;)

Maybe it could be reasonable to make it available like archetype? So anybody could easy use required version of archetype and create test project to transform it later to real project.

What do you think about my proposal?

Thank you.

With best regards,
Alex.
