Going to give Bundlor another go, is this post still up to date? I saw that the maven code sample uses 1.0.0.M2 whereas the text refers to M4. I can easily move all that to 1.0.0.RELEASE, but I think it would be good to update the post, as it ranks higher than the documentation in google.

While it's Maven-specific, it'd be a v nice feature to have.

Hey Ben,

Going to give Bundlor another go, is this post still up to date? I saw that the maven code sample uses 1.0.0.M2 whereas the text refers to M4. I can easily move all that to 1.0.0.RELEASE, but I think it would be good to update the post, as it ranks higher than the documentation in google.

Cheers,

Ben,

Your example profile is no longer available in fisheye. Could you link to something more permanent please?

P.S. Finally submitted that issue as https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/BNDLR-284.

@Neale

In general I'd sort of thought that a profile would be checked in with each project. This shouldn't be a requirement, and your idea is a good one. Why don't you open a user story on https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/BNDLR and I'll get on it.

Having just started using Bundlor, this looks good.

However, where do we get the profile from?

In the same way as my Maven POMs can have a parent, why not allow OSGi profiles to be specified in the Maven plugin as artifacts. That way, I can specify specify dm Server v2.0 as a profile, and so long as I have the EBR as a repos, Bundlor can resolve it and load the enclosed .profile.

This would also mean that I (and many others) can deploy my own OSGi profiles.

While it's Maven-specific, it'd be a v nice feature to have.
