When a new opensource project is created although there seems to be an already existing solution, I often find myself wondering why. Namely, the project Bundlor seems to compete with the well-known BND: http://aqute.biz/Code/Bnd.

Is there a page where you explain why BUNDLOR was created? What is the rationale of not just contributing patches to BND instead of introducing a brand-new project?

Thanks for your answer.
