Essam, both features (Quick Fixes and Visual Editor) are part for STS 2.0. The update site that you used hosts Spring IDE and the dm Server Tools only as STS used to be our commercial tool offering with no publicly available update site.

This is going to change as we just announced that STS will be made available for free: so by Thursday, May 7th you should be seeing more features on the update site, including Quick Fixes and Visual Editor.

I hope this clarifies things a little.

Christian, I updated using the url http://www.springsource.org/update/e3.4, but I'm not seeing the new Visual Spring Configuration Editor (i.e spring beans files open with the std Eclipse xml editor).
I'm also not seeing the quick fixes.
The Spring IDE version is 2.2.2.RELEASED, and the dm server plugins version is 1.1.3.M1.
Am I using the correct url?

Other than that, the IDE and dm server integration are very useful.

thanks,
Essam

Patrick, thanks for pointing out this glitch. The ACLs have been adjusted and you should be able to install from the update site now.

Nevertheless I should have mentioned that the update site is not browsable with a web browser as it is hosted on S3.
