Hi Ben,

how can I contact you? The email address you provided at http://static.springframework.org/spring-security/site/team-list.html bounces.

I've created a JSF/Facelets Taglib for integrating Spring Security into Facelets ( the normal jsp-taglibs don't work with facelets, because facelets uses a component-tree for rendering).

I've provided a maven module source at http://www.dominikdorn.com/facelets/ and looking forward to get this into the main spring security distribution or at least into spring-security-taglibs or something like that, so that people don't have to search for this.

Please contact me, my email should be visible to you within this post, else its firstname.lastname at gmail.com

Thx Greetings,
Dominik

Ankit, http://static.springframework.org/spring-security/site/reference.html contains the documentation.

Seak, you're best off asking support questions in our community forum at http://forum.springframework.org.

Brooks, http://jira.springframework.org/browse/SEC-737 explains why we removed the Captcha JARs. It was by design. We will be reviewing and refactoring the code in a subsequent release.

Useful links for Spring Security 2.0 are available at http://springframework.org/security.

I was wondering why 2.0 no longer has the captcha jars. This was in M2 but seems to have been missed in RC1 and this new release

[...] I suppose that you know what is Spring Security (former Acegi project) is, or at least you are aware of its wide securing abilities for a Java web application. Besides lots of features which Acegi offers you out-of-the box, there are many configurable options. This time, I had a task to implement a functionality which allows restricting access to method invocations based not only on the granted roles to the logged in user, but taking in account passed parameters as well. Let’s see the result. [...]
