<description>Hi Neelan, Can't thank you all at SpringSource enough for such an wonderfull framework and I can't admire enough the company and the people working.
Although I know that You and Mr Puri were involved in JAX India promoting Spring in India and SpringSource conducts trainings/sessions in India. Still unlike in Europe and USA, inspite of spring being so popular (and no of companies working with Spring), makes me wonder why SpringSource officially doesnt have a presence in India. SpringSource and its associate organizations are surely one of major forces in application infrastructure segments, and with Spring's partner program suiting perfectly for many services/product companies here, would like to see more Spring activities in India.
regards

<description>[...] This is completely consistent from what Rod had to say 2 weeks ago at The Spring Exchange. Rod references the Gartner report from September 2007, entitled Trends In Platform Middleware: Disruption Is In Sight when discussing why we&#8217;re facing changes in Java EE, which gives validation that developers are turning to simple, more lightweight solutions such as Spring. <description>[...] We will continue to be involved in products besides the Spring Portfolio. AspectJ is an example of another important project we lead. There will probably be more. But since 2004, Spring has grown in importance&#8211;and scope, through the Spring Portfolio&#8211;to become central to modern enterprise Java architectures. (This is not just our opinion: it&#39;s borne out by recent research from Gartner, Forrester and other analysts.) We live and breathe Spring, and it&#39;s central to us too. [...]</description>
