		<description>Personally I think that XML makes a lot of sense in most cases. Which doesn&#039;t change the fact that Spring&#039;s architecture allows us to accommodate those with different preferences also, and to mix and match when XML is right for some scenarios within an application but not for others.  As Spring 2.0 shows, we&#039;ve also significantly improved Spring&#039;s XML capabilities in the last few releases.</description>

The only way for the incumbent to lose is to accept the new premise, because it&#039;s being loudly shouted for a while.</description>
