An old blog post, but yet still current :). I know that when Steven Devijver was part of the project he was working on a sample application which was also based on the DDD principals. Is this application still going to see the light of day or is it going to be kept in the murky dungeons ?!

Does anyone know if this book will cover Spring 2.1 as well, or at least annotation driven DI. This would be great. thanks

Not until July now (per amazon)? I want to pre-order but I'm not sure the book will be as useful to me in July. Anyway there are electronic editions available now?

Will there be a chapter / section about the new mechanism for schema-based extensions (NamespaceHandler, BeanDefinitionParser, ...)?

I'd also like to see a JPA chapter, but in regards to the Hibernate chapter, I don't think you should explain it from the ground up...just say you can find out more from the Hibernate web site and cover how Spring makes Hibernate easier. Spring-Hibernate use is very popular and it seems odd to leave that out of a Spring book :-)
